I spent the first year of my marriage in Woodstock, Vermont, a charming New England town by the side of my hardworking soon-to-be lawyer husband. The cold, long snowy winter, home bound and helpless, pushed me to learn how to entertain myself at home. Throughout that year, I taught myself how to cook, bake and knit.
Being in the kitchen, was a newly found medium for my creativity, putting a new spin on my favorite dishes, for a more healthy and satisfying meal.
My goal is to do away with the commonly used traditional fats and sweets by introducing a healthier alternative consisting of beneficial vitamins, fiber, and whole grains without compromising taste.
As my cooking was heating up, somewhere in between the moving and shaking, I learned how to knit, even designing my own patterns. Though, still a beginner, I like to keep it simple 🙂
I am hoping to share with you my delicious and nutritious recipes, cozy knitting designs, and have fun.
Thank you, in advance, for reading my blog and I hope you enjoy!
